In History, 09-26

Today, in 1918, the Meuse-Argonne Offensive began, and continued until the armistice ending hostilities was signed on November 11. This was the biggest operation and victory of The Great War, now known as World War I. 26,277 Allied troops were killed and 95,786 were wounded.

The reason I commemorate this day is that my Grandfather left both legs there in France during that offensive. I would like to find out if there are records that would tell what day he was wounded on. If any readers could steer me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
