Just a couple of new ECM links today:

Ken Silva writes:

For my purposes here I’m just going to give a brief overview of what I as a pastor find of concern–particularly the Emerging Church Movement’s lack of commitment to proper biblical hermeneutics–and we’ll then move into a teaching concerning the way Christ Jesus our Lord Himself approached Holy Scripture, and how this leads us to a proper Christian view of Scripture.
Emerging With A Christian View Of Scripture

More truth from the rapier pen of Ron Gleason:

There is an interesting and clear parallel with the ECM and the hippy movement in the 1960s. To avoid being like everyone else, the anti-establishment, anti-military complex tribe grew long hair, wore bell-bottom jeans, tie-dye T-shirts, sandals, listened to the same music, and mouthed the same peace, anti-war mantras. Striving to be different, they all ended up looking and sounding alike. From the emerging Emergent jargon and ways of "doing church" it appears that the ECM is headed down the same path.
